Opening a Mystery CPU Loot Box
Cleaning out my old server room before the move to Bangkok, I found a mystery bin labeled “CPU”. No idea what was inside, so I opened it on camera and sorted everything into valuable, low-value, and garbage piles:
Cleaning out my old server room before moving to Bangkok, I found this bin labeled “CPU”.
Let’s see what’s in it!
Empty Ryzen 7 box.
Empty Ryzen 5 box, thanks a lot guys.
AMD CPU trays.
Paperwork.
I3 2100.
I5 2500, that’s not THAT bad.
I3 3220.
4 gigs of DDR3 laptop memory, this is not a CPU.
I5 2400S.
T 2500, ancient and I don’t think this is even a 64 bit chip.
I5 2320.
What kind of sicko mixes SUPER GLUE in with the thermal paste?

Anyways… Real thermal paste.
Generic cooler.
Another generic cooler.
Intel CPU trays.
Ryzen 5 1600, that’s not bad.
A4 3400.
Another generic cooler, more of a low profile one.
40 gig SSD drive, also not a CPU.
Brand new wraith cooler, that’s nice.
Random stickers and paperwork.
Alright, that’s most of it.
Time to separate this stuff into 3 piles: Valuable, Low Value, and Garbage.
In the valuable pile, we’re only going to put the Ryzen 5 1600 CPU and the brand new cooler.
In the low value pile, let’s put most of these CPUs, the used coolers, and the plastic CPU trays.
These could be useful to some people.
I’ll put these together with the valuable pile and see if I can sell them as a bundle on eBay.
The rest is trash or recycled.
So that’s another box down, another step closer to Bangkok.
See anything of value? Be sure to leave a video comment!
